Our client is a start-up pharmaceutical company, specialized in the development and the production of new medicines and treatments. The company is preparing its clinical phase trial to introduce a new product.


What do we seek

As a lab assistant you will work in a small team dedicated to the discovery and development of pharmaceutical formulations. You run the daily operation of the lab, such as technical assistance, administrative, and daily operational tasks. You manage the inventory, the positioning of the machines and the storage of the chemicals and the consumables. and make sure the daily work in the lab can be carried out safely and efficiently.

Job requirements
For the position of a lab manager we are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications:

• A completed MLO/HLO/ BSC in Life Sciences, molecular biology, biochemistry or equivalent
• Several years of work experience in managing a lab
• A proactive, flexible and motivated attitude to work independently on assigned tasks
• A creative approach to help with the organization of the lab:
  • Routine immunoassays ( ELISA, EIA, FIA, Bradford, …)
  • Routine culture of cell
  • Consumables storage
  • Lab utilities
  • IT issues
• You are fluent in English and Dutch

• A flexible part-time contract starting with 20 hours, later could be expanded to 32 hours if the candidate wants.
