In their labs, a variety of foods and raw materials are examined for a lot of parameters. Both traditional and modern analytical techniques are used. Many are performed under our ISO 17025 accreditation.
 

Job description

As VB.Net Developer, together with the Business Applications team, you are responsible for the development of the current and future LIMS (our system for collecting and sending data) and LIMS-related systems within the Business Line Health & Nutrition Food Benelux.

As Developer, you will create new functionalities in the LIMS and related applications and maintain them in the existing IT infrastructure You will work with mostly Visual Basics scripts and your job will include modernizing these.

In this role, you work on internal and external applications that make our work in the lab more efficient and effective.

You will be based around Breda or Rotterdam region.
 

Internship requirements

• Able to start in May/ June 2024
• Available for 6 to 9 months
• In possession of an Erasmus scholarship or similar one
• EU citizenship

Job requirements

• Your knowledge. skills and experience include:
• Bachelor working and thinking level
• Experience in similar role is desirable
• Programming experience (Visual Basic. VB.net, and basic knowledge in MS Office. SOL. C#. XML and Oracle databases)
• English language in word and writing
• Well-developed communication skills. both oral and written
• High problem-solving capabilities
