Account Manager (Full Time)
 
Our client is an innovative manufacturer and developer of food marketing concepts. Their fresh fruit experience is the first of many concepts to hit the market. They are looking for a new member of the team, to make our new innovations a splashing success. Are you the independent and entrepreneurial individual who fits our hands-on business culture? Then we are looking for you!
 
As an account manager you will develop long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. You will be active in selling our technical products to existing and new customers. You will advise the production and oversee planning deadlines. The account manager is the first contact of our customers, and will help them with small technical questions, and (after) sales related issues. We are looking for a sales-oriented professional who values productivity and customer engagement.
 
Responsibilities
  • Actively developing leads and the search for new customers
  • Manage and develop existing customers
  • Attending trade shows and making global business trips
  • Monitoring production deadlines and communication with customers
  • Responding to customers’ (technical) questions
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study like Engineering, Food or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in other languages (German or Dutch is a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and authentically
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
